Grass-fed beef has a better ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6, is high in antioxidants such as vitamin E and contains higher vitamin and mineral levels. Eating meat from animals that themselves have only eaten a natural diet of grass, wildflowers, clovers and legumes, rich in essential vitamins and minerals and untainted by chemicals and pesticides, makes a whole lot of sense. It’s a healthy choice to make.

Our Red Rubys, Aberdeen Angus and Dexter breeds have been allowed to reach maturity at 30 to 36 months naturally, to produce beef that has outstanding depth of taste and texture with wonderful marbling. Our wild venison is naturally reared on Dorset lowlands and strictly sourced from professional stalkers who manage a combined area of 14,000 acres of rolling Dorset arable farmland, pasture and woodland.

Wild deer eat a natural diet of grass, fruits and berries, acorns, apples and chestnuts which produces venison meat that is very lean and low in saturated fat.

Our wild venison is hung on the bone for up to 10 days to let it develop a really intense flavour and then hand-prepared by our master butchers.
